GUIDO W BAUDACH
Founded in late 1999 as the Ausstellungs- und Projekt-raum Maschenmode (founders: Guido W. Baudach, Martin Germann, Peter K. Koch). The name literally meaning was derived from the actual premises that formerly housed a knitwear store (East Berlin).
As from March 2000 exhibition space was managed solely by Guido W. Baudach. Different exhibitions were now held every week to fund the exhibition programme from drinks sales at openings - which often lasted in to the early hours.
Selected Artists: André Butzer, Björn Dahlem, Thilo Heinzmann, Thomas Helbig, Andreas Hofer, Erwin Kneihsl, Bjarne Melgaard, Markus Selg, Thomas Zipp.
